THE MOPCOSTLAB TOOLKIT
Cleaning team
capacity calculator.
See how many cleaning jobs your team can handle after allowing for travel, admin and other non-billable time.
KEEP THE UNITS CONSISTENT
Two people. One hour.
Two person-hours.
Team capacity adds the working time of every person. Three people working 30 paid hours each create 90 person-hours. At 75% productive time, 67.5 person-hours remain for cleaning jobs.
If a job needs 3 person-hours, that example supports up to 22 whole jobs. This is a weekly planning estimate; it does not assign workers or create routes.
Plan with a little breathing room.
What should I enter for productive time?+
Use your own records to estimate the share of paid time available for cleaning work. There is no universal percentage. Travel, meetings, admin and other activities all use capacity.
Why round down the number of jobs?+
A fraction of a job does not mean another complete booking fits. We round capacity down to whole jobs and show remaining person-hours separately.
What if my jobs are different sizes?+
Use an average that represents the actual mix, or calculate separate scenarios for different job types. For a final weekly schedule, check each job’s time window and staffing needs.
